As if to answer the question posed by our previous article and along with a massive overhaul to their website, Ableton announced the launch of two new products today: Ableton Live 9 and a new hardware controller, Push.
This upgrade doesn’t seem to be a massive overhaul to Live’s interface and functionality, but rather a series of improvements to its existing features.
Developed in-house by Ableton and build by Akai Professional, the Push looks like a heavily integrated Live controller. Its main focus is the row of velocity-sensitive, RGB, back-lit pads with after-touch.
Ableton Live Standard will cost US$449/349â¬, while Suite will reach US$749/599â¬, and Push will be available in early 2013 for $599/â¬499.
