The Sonic Manipulator’s Claude Controller
Claude Woodward, a.k.a. the UK-and-now-back-to-Perth-Australia-based alien act The Sonic Manipulator is one spacey dude. He tours the country dressed as a silver spaceman and plays all sorts of instruments and controllers of his own invention, and has this amazing website that seems to come straight from the 90′s (that’s a good thing!). This is one of his more serious and un-campy videos explaining how his wheel-based Claude Controller works.
On another note, this guy’s my new all-time favorite performer. He’s the most zany musician I’ve ever seen in my life and his enthusiasm simply oozes through his campy as heck videos. Seriously, go check out his incredible YouTube channel, watch some of his neon-laden performances and listen to a couple of his spacey songs. The aliens have landed!
